Our story

How did we start this foundation?

In 1983, Watered Garden Mission began as a gathering of four women with physical disabilities seeking information exchange. This group has since grown, fostering confidence through shared experiences, raising funds through various activities, and organizing a range of classes and events for people with disabilities.

“

I felt awkward at first because I didn't know how to interact with my friends with disabilities. However, all friends I met at here were incredibly kind, pure-hearted, and treated everyone with love. Without realizing it, my heart opened up. I'm grateful for the opportunity and I hope that newcomers will warm up faster and approach them first.
